Refund policy

We will accept returns on damaged items due to shipping but cannot accept due to change of mind.

Returns Process

Before posting your return please contact us at hello@thebackdropshop.co.nz with your order number and reason for return.

Returns must be received within 2 business days of receiving your order. Returns and exchanges received outside of the above time frame will not be accepted. Additional shipping costs are at the expense of the customer. We will contact you to arrange the redelivery of your exchange. Once the item has been received by our team you will either be contacted to arrange the redelivery of your exchange or issued a store credit on the original cost of the goods (excluding shipping charges). If there are signs that the item has been used or damaged after unboxing we reserve the right to refuse the return. Please note if a store credit is redeemed at a later date an additional freight fee will be charged, even if the credit is used towards goods over the value of $99. Free freight can only be applied once at the time of the initial transaction. 

Cancellations 

Once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel the order. In the instance that you ordered incorrectly and your order has not been dispatched, we will happily issue a store credit or arrange an exchange.
